Vincent Gallo will present RRIICCEE,  his the latest musical movement and Grace Jones presents her new disc  ”Hurricane”, which is aimed 100% at the dancefloor – she really wouldn’t have it any other way. The new Grace Jones prowls stealthily to the beat of techno and jungle, and makes her return backed by a list of associates and remixers to takes your breath away, which includes Brian Eno, Sly and Robbie and Tricky.[2]

And the image is quite sweet ‘n freaky this year, based on a shortfilm, the central characters (one of them is a piece of shit…..) are surreal majorettes from the world of dreams, who have lost their bearings in the land of the living as a result of calls from a fiendish telephone booth.[2]

For the first time in its history Sonar will have a kid’s corner, is to say SonarKids, a new festival of music and creative experiences conceived by Sónar to awaken and stimulate children’s creativity…

“Conceived in 2007 with the creator of Hole, Eric Erlanson, it is formed by an unusual band whose musical offering proposes improvisation from a new angle composing songs live and intending to avoid the tradicional concept and cliches of the jam session. At Sonar we will see how RRIICCEE, a trio formed by Gallo and the Haas twins Nikolas and Simon (brothers of the actor Lukas Haas) strictly compose their songs live and on the go, a work in process on stage of an uncertain end.” [2]
