A real story that happened to me as a little girl.

The one and only time i got a response to a balloon contest, knowing WHERE my balloon flew to: it crossed the inner german border (without a visa!). A boy at the other side of the border found the ballon and contacted me. That’s how i learned about the iron curtain, berlin wall and censorship of western candies….
