HUGO – an animated shortfilm
Based on the story of
Don Quijote, this shortfilm was supposed to become a fantastic mixture of video and animation. Due to lack of fundings we had to stop the production, halfway through. (Maybe we got too much inspired by
famous examples that
failed for different
reasons in finalising their Don Quijote adaptions….)

SINOPSIS: Hugo’s standardized life changes dramatically when he wins a video camera. He decides to shoot a film. This confuses the boundaries between reality and imagination, not only in the protagonist’s head.
A collaboration with
Daniel Hartlaub.
