In Britain, the education for tecnicians in theatre dance is surely one of the most advanced. But, video is too new a medium to treat it in education excetnsively. Criticising this fact, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in partnership with Complicite and the London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange are hosting a day of discussion, demonstration and networking to discuss the future of projection and how Higher Education should address the increasing demands for video and projection in theatre.
Our key-note speaker is Simon McBurney - artistic director of Complicite.
