Synchronicity takes us from Chile and Spain with our art projects to Colorado/ USA. After three years of trying to get together, we decided to use this magic coincidence as a starting point for our route, traveling the mystical national parks of Colorado. We will capture photons of the stars whilst creating small artworks that we’ll project onto petrified trees, mountain slopes, or ancestral cliff dwellings with mobile projectors.
We will be parting from traditions and rituals from the places we visit. We will design experimental electronic objects for sci-fi ceremonies. The works will be inspired by our experiences and discoveries during this road movie.
At the end of this road movie, we will work a few days at the BMoCA to analyze our experiments and prepare them for use in our immersive multimedia ceremonies.

After this, Aruma will continue a 1-month residency at BMoCA (Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art), whilst Karla will show her latest performative project “Divine Cyborg – dancing with the ghosts” at LEAF (Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival)
