divine cyborg # 17 – Dancing with the ghosts

Artefacts from a future past, mystic figures, broken robots and a grave, where the bones of the passed away are screws, plastic parts and integrated circuits. Entombed with artefacts from the 23rd century… forgotten myths and rites are mirrored in the leftover objects that are buried with these kings, queens and goddesses.

The performance uses handmade objects, video and projection, to tell a story of an archaeologist of the future. A handheld camera films these objects, at the same time they are projected and amplified on a big screen. Accompanied by a handcrafted electronic soundtrack to help the viewer to immerse into this fancifully bizarre sci-fi movie.
